General Course of Russian Aurora offers a large variety of courses with flexible structure, so that our students can choose the most suitable one. Our General Course of Russian - from the elementary level to perfection - was prepared in order to develop and bring to perfection all the aspects of the language activity: reading, writing, speaking, listening. At lessons the students are given the opportunity to improve regularly their speaking skills and raise their practical grammar level. All tasks are built-up taking into account communicative objectives of the language acquisition based on contemporary currently used vocabulary. In order to employ your time with maximum effectiveness we suggest you to complete the General Course of Russian with supplementary subjects depending on your own professional or personal interests: Russian Literature the module is given up to classics and modern Russian prose and poetry; Business Language the module develops language skills necessary to communicate in business accounting the characteristic features of the Russian business ethics; Russian (Soviet) Cinema opens the versatile world of Russian and Soviet cinema; Country Studies let plunge into the reality of the everyday life in Russia, familiarize with traditions, peculiarities of the Russian culture and way of life; Cooking combines language practice with an excellent opportunity to master cooking of traditional dishes of the Russian cuisine; Mass Media enables to get bearings in the variety of Russian mass media, familiarize with current problems of the Russian society.

Access to the State exam of Russian language The course of Access to the State exam of Russian language for those who are purposed to obtain the State certificate. We offer six levels of Russian-language acquisition in accordance with Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. At the end of each level we give an opportunity to pass the exam of Russian as a Foreign Language aimed at obtaining the international (State) certificate (the Ural State University, Department of Russian as a Foreign Language) to everyone who wants an official State documentation of his/her knowledge by the Russian Federation The number of students in groups is of 6-10 people depending on the chosen course. The least period of study is of 2,5 weeks. The enrolment in a certain level of study is implemented on the results of the entrance test and interview with the study-program manager. After completing the course we issue the «Aurora» Center certificate and give recommendation to pass the State exam of Russian as a Foreign Language. Students are enrolled in the certification (State) exams by their request. Then, the enrolment fee is an additional sum to be paid. .

Unique offer! Russian language for Russian-language teachers abroad  Dear colleagues! «Aurora» invites you to participate in the program of seminars for Russian-language teachers for foreigners. We offer lectures and master classes on teaching methods of different aspects of the Russian language and literature as well as country studies. The program of the seminar includes the visit of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language at the Urals State University, meeting with a representative of the publishing house «Zlatoust» (St.-Petersburg) specialized in course books for Russian as a foreign language, round table on problems of Russian-language teaching abroad
